With a preexisting filter-system, the chances of aspiration and ventilated-associated pneumonia (VAP) will decrease.  The filter-system will also act as a barrier to the medical provider, helping prevent gross contamination expelling from the tube to come in contact with such provider.

With a new innovative couplet, deep-tracheal suction can be done at ease without removing any pieces of the endotracheal tube.  This will allow ventilations to continue at the same time the medical provider needs to suction.

MEET EMIT

OUR STORY

EMIT LLC is a startup company formed in June of 2018 that focuses on medical innovation and technology.  The President, Mr. Eric Cantor has created a new innovative airway device in hopes of reducing infection in the airway-compromised population among other great and necessary benefits to manage patient airways.

OUR VISION

To create and improve upon existing and future medical technology and equipment.  In turn, reducing infections, prolong hospital stays, and overall cost.

The novel airway device will utilize current market plastics and chemical components that are already FDA approved, to create the necessary elements of the device. The final device will then undertake a sterilization processes for field usage to increase its effectiveness of reducing infection and making it the most efficient and user-friendly airway tool.
